Where to Begin?

I'm going to try and treat this blog as a little journal in a way. Maybe not with the same vocabulary as I usually would when journaling but enough to get my feelings expressed. So this project was great but also not so great 😅. Loved the concept. Not sure I loved the execution, but honestly I'm coming around to it. I've shown more people outside of my class how my project came out and everyone absolutely loved it! I think seeing my project from an analytical view there were so many things that could be improved on such as the consistency of the lighting, texturing, and background. All that jazz. However, seeing it from an outside point of perspective made me feel good about the work that came out. Personally, I'm pleased about the aspects/ assets I did; including the art direction, storytelling, animating, and modeling. I like it despite the errors and flaws in the short. I think it shows character. It was frustrating having to resolve problems that were abandoned by the other teammates, such as the animation of scene 4. It was even more disappointing when I showed up to the animation department at 7:40 AM expecting my teammates to show up at 8 when they really didn't even appear till closer to 9. To reiterate I would not have had a problem fixing our animation and texturing issue-- I would have really appreciated it though if I had been made aware of the problem that weekend before, NOT a day before it was due. I'm not really upset about the problem anymore, I think if anything it's motivated me to really push for a good outcome and improve on my part of the team. You win some, you lose some. I deserve a little treat 😤😪🍟
