Break and Beat board

So excited about the upcoming story projects! I had the opportunity to pitch my story idea, but really fumbled on the delivery. Both story ideas (pitched another story in another class. Jokes did not land 😅). I should have prepared better for the presentation. Granted, it was last minute, but I also should've posted all the info that the team and I had worked on. This included other art concepts and ideas such as the color palette, Brianna's storyboard, the information that answered the questions, all the stuff we talked about including log line and story structure. AHHH!😫 Oh well!

I'm just looking forward to working on them! Want to get my grubby hands on the story. I believe this story of the Witch and the Wizard has a lot of potential. Also think Malia's story has a lot of potential. So many choices! If we had the option, I would really like to postpone Malia's story and work on it at a different time. Just because it's a fascinating story and I really like to be part of the project. I also really like my story! In its own way. However, I want to do what I want to do most - which is my work.

Some stories were questionable, personally I think stories like Stefan's make it really hard to engage with (PERSONALLY). Which isn't to say I don't like stories that feature boxing, but I like to think of boxing as just ONE aspect to the tale. Hoping there's a more interesting subplot to carry the rest of the character's arc. Who knows. Maybe I'd be more interested in it had it been a wife or lover that died instead of the mother. Even if the parent being a father and exploring the father son dynamic; featuring the theme of boxing and masculinity. I just want some stories to kind of explore a bit-beneath the surface.
